Crystal – Office Manager/Licensed Dental Assistant

Crystal is our office manager, in addition to being a dental assistant. She joined Snyder Orthodontics in 2000 after graduating from DCTC in Rosemount.

A Hastings native, Crystal still lives there with her husband and 2 daughters. Outside of the office, she likes to stay active ... softball, volleyball, boating, fishing, gardening, canning ... you'll rarely find her standing still!

Crystal's first concert? Garth Brooks when she was 9 years old!

What Crystal likes BEST about her job here ... getting to know her patients!

Emily – Licensed Dental Assistant

With us since 2004, Emily is also a dental assistant, originally from Willmar, MN. Her and her husband have 2 boys and a dog named, Chewie.

Emily loves staying active and being outside ... especially if there's a beach around! (are you noticing a beach theme here?!?) Emily likes all kinds of music, especially if it has a good beat and her favorite vacation ever? When she traveled to Maui ... water, sand and fun!

What Emily likes BEST about her job here ... being able to help a person change the way they feel about themselves!

Monique – Licensed Dental Assistant

Monique is one of the newest members of our team, a dental assistant joining us early this year. Originally from Circle Pines, MN, her and her husband now live in St. Paul with their cat, Blaze … who their vet loving calls ‘the Terrorist.’

When Monique and her hubby aren’t working on DIY projects and renovations around the house, she loves to lift weights and run. Travel is also something she loves and so far she’s visited Prague in the Czech Republic, she’s spent two weeks traveling Europe and she’s gone skydiving! Next on her travel bucket list? Visiting the Maldives Islands! If you know where they are, ask her about them the next time you’re in!

The wisest advice she’s ever been given … “If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.”

What Monique likes BEST about her job here ... Being able to see patients before, during and after treatment. The transformations are a real WOW moment!

Tammy – Business Manager

An Albert Lea native, Tammy has been in the Snyder Orthodontic family for 16 years ... currently as our business support person. She has 2 children and a beautiful little granddaughter.

Tammy's favorite activities? The beach, fishing, the beach, fishing, the beach and fishing! Now that her and her hubby live half time here and half time in Florida, her favorite activities are now much easier to achieve!

The lesson Tammy's mom taught her years ago, that she still lives by, is "Be prepared and have all of your ducks in a row!" You can see this advice come through in her work by how organized she keeps us!

What Tammy likes BEST about her job here ... being part of such a great team!

Deb – Treatment Coordinator

Deb, our treatment coordinator, has been with Snyder Orthodontics for 19 years. Her and her husband ... and their 4 children ... are anxiously awaiting grandchild #3 this spring!

The best advice anyone ever gave Deb was, "Don't rely on anyone but yourself to make you happy!" Excellent words of wisdom!

Something quirky about Deb? She's lived in TEN different states throughout her life! We're happy that she finally settled here because Deb's knowledge of orthodontics is priceless and such a vital part of our team.

What Deb likes BEST about her job here ... helping patients and parents really understand orthodontic treatment.

Kim – Scheduling Coordinator/Marketing

Joining our team in 2014, Kim is a Bismarck, ND native. Her and her hubby have 2 adult children, a grandson and a joint-custody dog named Lexie that they 'share' with a friend.

Kim's first concert? Black Oak Arkansas and the Charlie Daniels Band at the Minot Civic Arena when she was 14!

On the top of Kim's bucket list is to visit Tuscany someday for an 'extended' stay. She thinks she was an old Italian grandmother in a previous life!

What Kim likes BEST about her job here ... getting to know orthodontics and all of the patients and families who come in here! Plus, at her previous job, 'chatting' was discouraged so she's making up for lost time here!

Jeanne – Breath of Fresh Air!

We are very fortunate to have our very own "gardener" at Snyder Orthodontics! Jeanne, Dr. Snyder's mother in law, keeps our flowerbeds and flower pots looking amazing all year long. And yes, it was her idea to put the chirping bird next to our front door ... you either LOVED him or didn't ... but he was certainly a conversation starter this winter!

Jeanne loves to keep busy reading, gardening, decorating, getting together with friends and family or attending her grandkids' events. Grass doesn't grow under HER feet! And the 'lesson from mom' that she still lives by today? "Treat everyone respectfully and everyone the same." A wise piece of advice we should all remember.

The first concert Jeanne ever attended? The Monkeys with her daughter, Mary Beth ... Dr. Snyder's wife. Be sure to ask her which Monkey she liked best the next time you see her!

What Jeanne likes BEST about her job ... well, when she was an RN, it was that she was able to affect changes in her patients' lives. What WE like best about her job HERE is that she still affects change by keeping our grounds looking great!

In Memory

Linda Calhoun (1967-2015)

Linda was part of our Snyder Orthodontic family and the 'face' of our office for 17 years. She lost her courageous battle with cancer in January of 2015 and will be missed by all who knew her.
